Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the CyberSharcX website and product, provided by CyberSharcX Private Limited (CIN U62099UP2026PTC248390), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India ("CyberSharcX", "we"). By using the website or creating an account, you agree to them. If you use the product for a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

The service

CyberSharcX provides decoy systems, canary files, alerts and incident reports that help you detect intrusions and prepare regulatory filings. The product supports your compliance process; it does not make you compliant and is not legal advice. Decisions about whether and how to report an incident remain yours.

Decoys detect interaction with the decoys themselves. We don't promise that CyberSharcX will detect every intrusion, or detect it at any particular time.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly at contact@cybersharcx.in if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the team members you invite.

Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Deploy decoys and canary files only on networks, systems and accounts you own or are authorised to monitor.
• Not attack, overload, reverse-engineer or try to gain unauthorised access to our website or product. Good-faith security research is welcome under the disclosure policy on our Security & Trust page.
• Not use the product to deceive, harm or collect data about anyone other than as needed to protect your own systems.
• Comply with the laws that apply to you, including the DPDP Act and CERT-In's directions.

Your data

You keep ownership of the data you and your systems send us. You give us permission to process it only to provide, secure and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Fees

Pricing is agreed with you in writing before any paid use. Unless agreed otherwise, fees are payable in Indian rupees and exclude applicable taxes.

Our intellectual property

The website, product, reports and their design belong to CyberSharcX. You may use reports generated for your company for your own business and regulatory purposes.

Third-party services

The product can send alerts through services such as email providers and Slack. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the website and product are provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why where we can.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over disputes about them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. For significant changes, we will tell account holders by email before they take effect.
